Photojournalistic coverage of weddings has recently seen a resurgence in popularity.

There are three things that distinguish photojournalism from tradition wedding photographic coverage:

1.  The medium used is high-resolution digital, mostly without flash.

2. The photos are usually black and white, although a mix with color is often used.

3. The photos are taken in such a manner that there is little or no apparent interaction between the subject and the photographer.

Most couples prefer both traditional coverage and photojournalistic coverage, the reasoning being that they feel there are some photos that must be posed. (Wedding party, family, the couple at the altar, etc.)

Any of our traditional packages can be substituted for photojournalism.

As an add-on to our traditional wedding packages, Photojournalism is priced as follows:

First three hours coverage (minimum) - $650.00

Each additional hour (or part thereof) - $150.00

The add-on packages have a distinct advantage in that the photojournalistic photographer can follow the traditional photographer and catch those perfect moments between posed shots, making the final product totally candid, beautiful and complete.
